I am a molecular oncologist with 24 years of post-doctoral experience in the biology and therapy of solid cancers, with an emphasis on breast cancer. Deeply skilled in cancer gene discovery, functional analysis of cancer related genes, and pre-clinical evaluation of novel small molecule targeted therapeutics as well as targeted radioimmunotherapy/radiopharmaceuticals (for both imaging and therapy). This is achieved through both the deployment of standard and development of novel in vitro and in vivo (xenograft, allograft, and transgenic) mouse model systems. A proven track record of problem solving, good organisational habits, excellent written and verbal communication skills. I was employed by Affinity BIO (now Myrio Therapeutics, https://affinity.bio/) for ~18 months where I carried out in vitro evaluation of many bispecific antibodies (BiTEs) that simultaneously recognize novel peptide-MHC class I complexes on cancer cells and also CD3 on human T cells. Here I learned about the functioning of a private biotech company as well as PBMC and T cell isolation and in vitro target cell killing assays, as evaluated by flow cytometry.
