Brokerage Operations/Compliance• Serves as SME regarding regulatory and compliance issues, effectively communicating complicated financial concepts to management, peers, auditors, regulators and others.• Assist team of 120 representatives and support personnel in the design and functioning of controls and/or the interpretation of regulations and application of compliance/audit standards.• SME regarding AML, KYC, and CIP initiatives keeping up to date on latest industry standards and regulations.Sales/Trading Operations• Engage with internal and external business teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance and service. Conduct fact gathering and perform investigative measures to monitor the effectiveness of existing processes.• Handle trade corrections for Fixed Income, Mutual Funds and UITs. (Fund family changes, NAV, ROA/LOI, commission adjustments).• Monitor trading activity and settlements across asset classes and address late payments or discrepancies with representatives. • Client onboarding onto CRM and trading platform including review of all necessary documentation.• CRM data management and hygiene for existing and prospective clients for standard, managed, and collateral accounts. (Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics)• Facilitating incoming and outgoing account transfers while ensuring the timely acceptance and release of client assets and funds.Treasury Operations• Monitor exposures to margin, interest rate, and counterparty risk, and develop and implement strategies to manage and mitigate as appropriate.• Daily monitoring of free credit and money market flows and liquidating accordingly to minimize margin costs across client accounts.• Conduct daily deposit functions including reconciliations and uploading data to online banking portal and clearing firm. Primary liaison between firm and both bank and clearing firm for any escalated matters regarding all customer related payments both incoming and outgoing.
