I am a passionate and resilient teacher who puts the needs of my class first. I am a firm believer in experiential learning and allowing the children to take ownership of their education through discovery and their own voice. I am currently in my NQT year (2019-2020) as a Year 4 teacher in Primary Education. I trained through Schools Direct within the same school and originally worked within the school as a Teaching Assistant prior to training. Before this, I attempted a career in teaching by unsuccessfully undertaking a PGCE (which I chose to leave with the desire for more classroom experience) and prior to this, I studied a BSc in Forensic Investigation at Bournemouth University, inspired by my love of Science.
