I have completed a two-year Culinary Management program at George Brown College. I have a passion for learning, excellent communication skills and I am a collaborative team player. I am proud of my status as a Dean’s Honour List student.My course work has provided me with the opportunity to develop my culinary skills. I can execute complex dishes and demonstrate excellent knife skills. I hold certifications in Sanitation, Nutrition, WHMIS, First Aid/CPR and Smart Serve. In addition, I have learned about topics such as sustainability and food theory and examined how to effectively manage costs in an organization.I have several years of experience working in a variety of settings in the restaurant industry. During this time, I have developed the ability to implement new learning, attend to the chef’s instructions and successfully execute complex dishes. I work independently to fulfill customers’ orders and collaborate with the chef to enhance my skills., I have gained valuable learning in several restaurants in terms of the preparation of a variety of recipes and have implemented new learning effectively.
