Improved employee efficiency by replacing paper-based and manual tasks with more automated and digitally assisted solutions.Maintenance Application- Consulted and liaised with the Property Manager to design and implement a custom-built maintenance application.- Maintenance application processes and holds maintenance work requests which are submitted by employees (requests can contain images, text etc). Maintenance staff can review and approve requests and follow a pre-defined guided process to resolve the request and task. Periodic maintenance is also contained within the system, and staff are automatically notified of recurring tasks which need to be completed.- Implemented offline functionality, ensuring staff are able to access and use the application even in cases where Wi-Fi coverage is low.- Improves employee efficiency, replacing phone calls as a means to submit requests. Also allows for reporting and monitoring of all tasks and requests that are submitted. - Built with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, able to be used on tablet (iPad and Android), phones (iOS and Android), PCs (Windows) and web browsers on a unified experience. No additional training required when switching between devices.External Check-in Application- Allows visitors and contractors to check-in without the use of paperwork, through a digital interface. Ensures health and safety compliance.- Built with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, able to be used on tablet (iPad and Android), phones (iOS and Android), PCs (Windows) and web browsers on a unified experience. Single-handed completion of a full overhaul of the reporting, BI processes and tools within a medium-sized organisation (24/7 residential care provider, ~$20m NZD turnover, 230+ employees, 215+ residents at hospital-level of care). Improved efficiency significantly by replacing out-dated, manual and legacy Excel files with custom-made automated workflows with macros, Python, Power BI, Web APIs and ODBC connections.Finance and Accounts:- Consulted and liaised with the Commercial Manager and admin team to understand their requirements, issues and pain-points within reporting.- Complete overhaul of 20+ reports (and related processes), migrating data processing from Excel to Power BI, and trained staff in its use.- Replaced Excel copy and paste methods with automated ETL (extract transform and load) in Power BI.- Replaced manual export methods from enterprise databases with APIs, data gateways and ODBC connections into Power BI.- Replaced and updated Excel VBA macros.- Replaced problematic income statement and general ledger reporting solutions with Power BI (SSRS) Paginated Reporting.- Devised custom-made Python algorithms for more advanced processes and checks.- Streamlined reporting and processing times (over 70%) with pin-point precision and accuracy.- Designed AI models to process paper documents into digital records for safe-keeping and auditing using Microsoft Power Automate.Clinical and Operational:- Consulted and liaised with quality and clinical care managers to understand their requirements, issues and pain-points within reporting.- Complete overhaul of reports, migrating data processing from Excel to Power BI, whilst training staff in its use.- Advising the organisation on implementing API connectivity to their current databases.- Vastly improving and streamlining clinical insights, giving managers ability to view and monitor the business with timely and accurate insights.
