I have been working in Higher Education in many capacities for over 8 years since Graduating from Marshall University in 2015. I am currently located in Raleigh, North Carolina, working for the Jenkins MBA Program at NC State University as Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruitment.Prior to my current role, I was at the University of Kentucky; first in the Office of Student Transitions and Family Programs as Administrative Assistant, and then in the College of Engineering as an Out-of-State Recruiter. These positions focused on the undergraduate admissions cycle through the student's first year transition into the college environment. It allowed me to gain experience in CRM reporting, program coordination, supervising, and most of all, communication and customer service. As Assistant Director at NC State, my focus is on Recruitment and Admissions initiatives for our Professional Online MBA Program and 2+2 Early Admissions Program. I am proud that the work I do for these programs benefits adult professional learners and Under-Represented Minority (URM) students such as Military & Veterans, First Generation, and Low-Income students. My primary goal is to help find a path to higher and post-graduate education for anyone who wants to achieve it.
