I have worked for both Fortune 500 and start-up companies. Some of my product features have impacted 150 million+ patients and users in the United States. My passion for healthcare comes from my early days working in acute patient care. I spent 9+ years helping improve the lives of cardiac patients. The desire to help those in need drove me to Product Management where I can drive technology to directly impact patient lives. I have worked within multiple areas of the health-tech space. I learned from some of the best at Cerner in their orders/medication management space. With a focus on ePrescribing and long-term/post acute care (LTPAC) spaces, I have a deep knowledge for the broad challenges our clinical teams face every day. The most impactful solution I worked on was upgrading Cerner’s ePrescribe solution to the NCPDP2017 standard. These features improved the ordering, review, and renewal processes of prescription medications. Every Cerner user and patient in the US was positively impacted by these improvements.When I’m not geeking out in the Product world, I prefer to “nerd out” in my hobbies. I’m passionate about exercise and taking care of myself. I love traveling the world with my wife in search of new adventures. And I love playing and interacting with strategy-based tabletop games. It provides an interactive experience for me to create and paint models that are used as pieces for a complex game. These games are incredibly immersive and provide a fun, creative outlet for problem-solving.I am proficient in the following Atlassian Product tools: JIRA, JIRA Align, and Confluence.Other Product tools: : FIGMA, Lucid, Notion.
