• Lead department wide projects including being technical operational project lead for setting up Capacity Command Center. • Train and guide newly hired staff while providing advice, guidance and the information needed to perform the job at the highest standard. • Desktop lead for IT change control in the Southern Region. • Technical lead for Windows 10 migration project. Also with converting 7th floor oncology unit to new thin client software and completed it ahead of schedule.• Respond to requests and diagnose and resolve urgent issues within and around multiple facilities to all nurses, management and hospital staff.• Interview customers to determine the nature and scope of the issue with strong attention to detail, and provide the appropriate responses in a clear way to all clients. • Identify, log and resolve technical issues with software applications or network systems pertaining to a customer's concerns in a timely manner within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines • Build and install PCs, peripheral devices (such as scanners, badge tap devices, signature pads and webcams) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards.• Oversee and maintain company hardware, software and peripherals with routine maintenance.• Identify potential changes and system improvements to present to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation• Deliver excellent customer service 24/7 with rotating on-call support for escalated after hour incidents.
