Reporting to the Director of Public Works and working collaboratively with the Leadership Team, the Manager of Operations - Transportation oversees the delivery of roads and transportation related activities of the Township. These activities include but are not limited to the responsibility for managing the operations, maintenance and capital projects of the municipal road network and all right-of-way (ROW) assets including roads, bridges, signage, traffic controls, sidewalks, and streetlights. The Manager will be responsible for addressing public enquiries, concerns and service requests in a timely and efficient manner for all areas of responsibility to ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.

David Brown Construction Ltd provides a wide variety of heavy civil construction services including water and sewer installation, road construction, site works, subdivision development and many other excavation services. We also specialize in environmental services such as site remediation, emergency spill containment and clean-up, and underground tank removal and disposal. Winter maintenance contracts are also a large part of our operations. As a Project Manager I am responsible for a wide variety of business operations including project estimating and management, bid and tender preparation, winter maintenance contract management, staffing requirements, health and safety policy development, quarry operations, customer service and many other day-to-day operations tasks.

One of the lead bartenders in charge of providing high quality service and atmosphere to guests during high volume shifts. Responsible for ensuring bar is stocked and clean before and after shifts. Worked with supervisory staff to improve guest experience.

Responsible for a number of constructive tasks related to landscaping including interlock pad and retaining wall installations, site grading, placement of topsoil and sod, placing and compacting granulars and asphalt as well as landscape maintenance. Developed solid foundation in construction and landscaping.

Responsible for a number of hospitality duties including setting tables, verifying store liquor and beer orders, prepping bar, side stands and coffee stations, as well as waiting tables and bar service.
