Since, I've lived mostly in Philippines and Thailand, supporting myself through a combination of freelance work (accounting, writing, transcription and admin) - and playing poker professionally.Having embarked on a career in accountancy with a UK top-15 firm in 2017, my experience was primarily centred around the provision of statutory audit and assurance services for SMEs. Notable assignments ranged from clients in the automotive aftermarket, property construction and food wholesale industries with turnovers of up to £70m, to smaller charities, including academy schools. Additionally, I gained competence preparing year-end financial statements for the above under UK GAAP (FRS102) and the Charity SORP / Academy Accounts Direction.Known amongst my peers for my attention to detail and ability to quickly grasp new concepts, I have experience executing audits from the planning stage through to completion, whilst liaising with and maintaining positive relationships with clients.Prior to beginning my training, I worked extensively within the retail betting and gaming industry, becoming highly knowledgeable about all aspects of sports betting and bookmaking.My interests and hobbies – finance, investing, cryptocurrency, science, technology, sports, poker and travels - overlap with and have complemented my professional life well.
