Responsible for managing and providing service to AVD/GDF applicants and graduates through direct follow-up assistance within the western territory of the United States/Canada/Mexico. As an Ambassador, represents GDF/AVD and supports program education, fund-raising, and marketing initiatives in assigned region.

Provided support and education to several Guide Dog Mobility Instructor Apprentices in a mentor-based apprenticeship under the supervision of an Education Program Manager.

Worked with the adult dog program by traveling to assess dogs for the program as well as working with the dogs that had been career changed to make them more adoptable--including behavioral modification and obedience training. In addition, I was heavily involved in establishing the criteria for the puppy raising program.

Task trained assistance dogs for children with disabilities and veterans. Those tasks varied from behavior disruption, seizure alert (scent and behavioral), diabetic alert, mobility and retrieval, hearing ear, and PTSD assistance.
