Completed my year in industry at TSC Simulations Ltd. Familiarised myself with the development of dynamic modelling of industrial processes. The role involved the creation and testing of dynamic models for a diverse worldwide client base.The development of the large-scale models provided an appreciation and understanding about the interconnectivity of different areas of the project. Further highlighted by the essential commutation within the engineering team. Additionally, completed the modelling of ESD systems, to match existing client company documentation and DCS interfaces.

A self-obtained role at North Carolina state university in the nuclear engineering department. The position allowed me to work alongside and learn from professors and PHD students. The position required a large amount of data processing and manipulation. This research project pushed me outside my degree comfort zone and challenged me to implement knowledge I was studying at the time.
