I am a Senior System Engineer for my family run business, Morris Sales Hospital Shoppe. This has been a family run business since 1956. At MSHS, I maintain around 25-30 workstations (mixed Windows & Linux), as well as a Windows Servers, Fortinet firewalls, networking gear / hardware, etc. Windows Servers are custom built in house (by me) to meet specifications & requirements. As a Systems Administrator for LCSEE Systems I help maintain a large array of systems. These systems include both Windows and Linux operating systems. We rely on virtualization techniques for many of our instances (KVM, Virtualbox,Docker). Working as a technician at LCSEE Systems helped me to get involved more with Linux and open source. While working as a technician I was primarily involved with providing desktop support to faculty and staff. I helped maintain printers and lab machines.

I worked at Red Hat headquarters for the summer as a Systems Engineering Intern. During my time at Red Hat I was tasked with sunsetting old KVM instances by doing forensics on them, determining their setup and configuration, automating their builds with cfengine, building new ones and migrating them into a RHEV (Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization) cluster with a RHEV node I built and added to the cluster. RHEV node was built on a blade in an IBM Blade center. Node/router networking for the node was configured by me (Cisco). I received a "Fanatical Customer Service" award from the internal Red Hat group I was working with, located over seas.
