I am a 4th-year Human Resource student studying full-time at the SAIT School of Business and am expected to graduate by December 2024. I have also completed a two-year BA diploma focused on HR at SAIT, in which I received Honours for my academic excellence. From this education, I have acquired, built, and reinforced professional skills needed in any industry, such as emotional intelligence-based leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as how to create and manage recruitment, training and compensation strategies efficiently.Through my work and volunteering experience, I have learned how to work in large and small teams and effectively complete projects. Currently I am the active president of S.A.I.Ts Human Resource Student Society, which has been driven by a desire to create opportunities for HR students at S.A.I.T to engage with their peers and the local HR industry. Furthermore over a 2-3 year period i have worked as a security professional where I have learned key skills that have helped me build resilient negotiation and communication skills that have enabled me to manage conflict effectively and reduce apparent risks on the job site. Outside of this, my other interest is in rugby, in which I am currently involved with both SAIT Trojans rugby teams and have been a long-time member of the CCIAC rugby club.
