I am a full-time QA Engineer, on a path to becoming a Software Development Engineer in Test, and am enamored with all things Product! I love my job at SmallWorld and cannot thank them enough for the opportunity the gave me to grow from intern to engineer and have fallen more in love with the product with every passing day. Other than my work at SmallWorld, I have become quite fascinated with the recent developments in the Artificial Intelligence intelligence space and have been immersing myself in the various tools and platforms that are forming the next generation of technology & software. I cannot be more excited to continue on my journey in exploring the various AI & Automation solutions of tomorrow.Background:I graduated from Chicago's DePaul University in 2021 with a BS in Marketing and a concentration in Sales Leadership. I was born in Chicago, however, San Jose, CA is where I spent most of my life and learned my strengths and interests. I found my passion for leadership while earning my Eagle Scout rank. I learned how to use and test software on a diverse set of devices and platforms while working as a QA Intern at Plex. I also grew fascinated with advanced mathematics while attending Bellarmine College Preparatory. Studying in Chicago has allowed me to cross paths with people of all walks of life and work in a variety of industries. I had a brief stint in the entertainment industry, learning how to DJ, design graphics & visual arts projects, edit advertisements & music videos, and plan events/productions. I also worked for Charity Bomb, a non-profit organization that plans benefit concerts for those in need. There, I helped manage and create for their two social media pages, Charity Bomb and Strange Entertainment, on all popular platforms. As well as this, I assisted with the filming and post-production efforts that they do alongside their concerts. Before SmallWorld, I had the opportunity to work as a Sales & Technology Intern at Fresh Connect, LLC. During this internship, I developed their new website, migrated and trained the team on how to use cloud-based email and file storage services, and guided the company as it transitioned from outside sales to virtual inside sales during the pandemic, gaining powerful insight into the inner-workings of the produce industry. I learned from and assisted the efforts of their premier sales team: prospecting, working with potential clients & current customers, developing virtual presentations, and providing holistic, nationwide sales representation for our multiple major grower-partners.
