This system allowed for a more accurate and timely collection of data and allowed the company a stronger foothold in the market by focusing the targeted pipeline. Assembled and led a team of 10 individuals tasked with mapping the electrical grid of the United States. Under my direction, in 18 months, the team was able to complete the full mapping of 9 complete states and at least partial mapping of 22 states combined. Designed and facilitated training program for new members of the team with a focus on the electrical grid and layout of power lines and their relationships to the electric utilities.Responsible for the discovery and analysis of documents related to the both IOU and Non-IOU utilities including utilization of FERC. These documents were vital in our ability to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Utilized Geographic Information Systems training to prepare maps, maintain databases, and create spatial data sets. Incorporated within this skillset was the utilization of software tools such as ArcMap and ArcCatalog.
