About Cameron Doyle

With considerable skill in managing preventative maintenance of substantial assets and business critical infrastructure projects, I have earned a solid reputation in overseeing asset integrity. Owning a passion for planned and preventative maintenance for power and water facilities, I have played a pivotal role in daily maintenance requests and planned projects for the Main Water Treatment Plant, Water Storage Facility, and Main Sewer Treatment Plant for the Alyangula Township, which has included infrastructure above and below ground. When dealing with maintenance concerns, problems, new technologies and strategies, the wisdom of Albert Einstein always comes to mind: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” To me, this provokes alternate thinking, development and change. As a Maintenance Manager who is highly engaged in their work, I owe my success to 3 Key Factors: ★ Purpose: I like to bring the team on the journey, create inclusivity, and break down barriers so we all have a sense of purpose. Answering the why, how and what is crucial to aligning our purpose with the company objectives, developing objectives of all tasks, and enhancing skills and motivation within the group.★ Action: Plan the work and work the plan with clear goals so activities can be delivered in a well-designed way. I always strive for cost-effective solutions without compromising quality; taking an agile approach to manage situations. ★ Results: I have proven my ability to deliver the best possible result in line with expectations, at all times honouring my commitments. Managing business critical assets demands strong agility, decision-making capability, analytical and problem solving skill, and technical knowledge. Because of this, I have secured numerous outcomes for my employers – more recently, a highlight being a major infrastructure upgrade that reduced ongoing maintenance of ~$100K P.A.When not at work, I enjoy the outdoors, spending quality time with family and friends, or challenging myself in the shed with creation of a one-off project. One of my greatest rewards is witnessing and assisting people in reaching their full potential in their work. So let’s connect! I welcome your connection so we can learn from each other, enhance our careers, and expand our network.📞 0405 543 807✉ cammodoyle@gmail.com

I was invited to apply for this newly created role because of my strong technical skill and solid abilities in mentoring others in skill development. Our aim was to develop team members – many of whom had been in their role for many years – with the intention of nurturing talent so they could pursue opportunities in one of the many roles within GEMCO or externally. Initially upskilling a team of four this soon grew to eight, which involved working through cultural differences and barriers to recruit a female into the team – an accomplishment I am proud of. The program was also developed as a positive social program to aid the broader community.Collaborating with literacy and numeracy teachers, I was successful in stacking on already developed training packages so I could enhance skills to successfully carry out practical construction and maintenance tasks in the field. As a result, the team achieved: ✔ Development as machine operators: truck, backhoe, forklift, excavator, dumpster truck, elevated work platform, loader. ✔ Skill development in construction.✔ Participation on projects such as: civil work for a new township playground, culvert road crossing construction, shed construction from civil to final assembly
