I am currently taking over the web design and marketing for my family's South African Tourism company. I taught myself graphic and web design to redesign from scratch the aesthetics of the Bearded Heron website while adding marketing descriptors and materials that I wrote and designed to increase the amount of enquiries they receive from the website. I have finished the Home page and am still in the process of reinventing the other pages, prioritizing what is necessary to bring in more business.Since I redesigned the home page enquiries from the website have increased by 500% every month.I have also updated the Bearded Heron Safaris' Logo to be a more modern design while still keeping it's Brand voice and association.

Starting as a Trainee Editor and moving to Junior English Editor I was promoted to Full-Time English Editor with my daily responsibilities growing and now including:• Creating dialogue lists, closed captions, subtitles for hard of hearing, Englishtemplates and transcriptions for various streaming services.• Annotating key English phrases to allow for easy translation.• Quality checking final English products and post processing those products.Worked on serials & features for the following services:• Apple TV• Disney +• Netflix• CBS

As a paid intern, under the supervision of the Creative Director I was tasked with:• camera operating.• video editing.• sound editing & mixing.• sound recording.• overseeing remote sound recording sessions between voice actors andtheir directors.• greenscreen replacement.• colour grading.• storyboarding and scriptwriting.• recording live events.for various promotional and corporate projects for companies like:• Pick n’ Pay• TCS John Huxley• Spar• Legends’ casting agency• Tsogo Sun Gaming for their casinos & hotels

Since graduating from University and between employment I have offered my services in conceptualizing, filming, and video editing short marketing and promotional material for small businesses to share on social media. I have also filmed high school rugby matches and edited them for the purpose of coaching said school teams.

With a great knowledge of comic books and pop culture I was a on floor sales rep in a large comic book retail store fittingly named, 'warehouse'.I used my knowledge to sell graphic novels and merchandise to people visiting the store or visitors to the restaurant and ice-cream parlor based within the store.
