Managing a strong Track Inspections team to ensure that all North-West track is inspected as required while improving Inspections procedures and processes.

Began developing a knowledge of rail theory and acted in the Production Manager of Track Inspections role from December 2021 onwards.

Performed end-to-end retail service by using my extensive technical knowledge of the applicable product range to provide solutions to a broad range of customer needs. This included offering household, automotive and leisure battery and battery product advice as well as consistently designing/specifying standalone off-grid solar setups.

During my time as part of the Institute of Forming Technologies and Lightweight Components I completed a research project to investigate the impact on finished part quality when varying the process parameters of SLM 3D printing, thereby contributing to an innovative remote laboratory setup for engineering students. This included independently researching, designing and manufacturing novel technical specimens to fulfill rigorous engineering investigation requirements.

Worked on high-end Supercars transaxles (Xtrac and Albins) under the instruction of an experienced motorsport engineer and gained specific knowledge of these transmission units, as well as invaluable knowledge of mechanical system layouts and packaging.
