1) Managing the work camp (fuel/accommodations/ helped with work schedules) providing a daily summary of work and expenditures. Tallied days worked and expenditures for all field employees.2) Organizing and leading prospecting/soil crews and a geological/ trench mapping program to better constrain mineralized zones.3) Leading line-cutting crews and implementing quality control for the purpose of an IP-survey.4) Supervising and leading field crews in the construction of core logging/ camp facilities.5) Laying out drill pads and drill/trench roads and making sure they are properly executed. 6) Monitoring drill and drilling equipment mobilization to site, lining up and inspecting drills, logging and overseeing the geoteching/sampling (QA/QC) of drill core and sample shipments. 7) Writing assessment reports on various properties of the company.

Tracked all weekly/monthly ore and backfill production, tracked equipment usage and down time, conducted geologic mapping and sampling (chip samples and test holes) and visited underground ore and development headings regularly to direct mining efforts and maximize ore recovery. All sampling and production was documented in AutoCAD/Promine. The style of mining was cut-and-fill and long-hole stoping.

During the summer of 2017 I worked with Pretivm Resources as an exploration geologist. The main focus was to carry out a detailed structural and geological study that includes mapping and analysis of lithologies and macroscopic and mesoscopic structures for the claim area. Emphasis was made to group structures by style, orientation, and age to better understand when and how the mineralized zones formed in relation to the deformation of the area.

In 2016 I worked as a field assistant with the Geological Survey of Newfoundland and Labrador, studying gold showings throughout the province. More specifically, we used regionally mapping, geochemical/assay samples, as well as more detailed structural anaylsis to better understand and constrain particular deposits, and tie them into local and regional tectono-magmatic events. We worked on projects such as the Viking Trend (Sopps Arm, NL), Bridal Veil (Gander, NL), and Beaver Brook Antimony Deposit (Glenwood, NL)

In 2015 I assisted the Geological Survey of Newfoundland and Labrador on a regional mapping project of the Bonavista Peninsula, Avalon Zone, of the Newfoundland Apalachians. More specifically, we better constrained and correlated previously mapped units, as well as completed a detailed structural study which provided new insight on the Late Precambrian Avalonian Orogeny.
