The Asset Team Leader - Moomba Gas Processing Plant is responsible for leading the Moomba Gas Plant to managing the plant risk, reliability, cost and efficiencies. They work collaboratively with the Process and Reliability Superintendents to deliver desired business outcomes. This includes:demonstrating EHS and Process safety leadershipcoordination, development and stewardship of asset performance targetsdetermining plant optimisation targets and strategiesstewardship of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly plansrisk assessment and acceptancecompliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements

The role of the Maintenance Coordinator within Santos is to facilitate the safe and efficient execution of Maintenance activities within an active gas processing plant. This is a field based position, with the following responsibilities:maintenance prioritisation and executionshutdown coordinationstatutory complianceprocess coordination

Santos operates a gas processing plant located at Moomba in central Australia, approximately 800 km North of Adelaide.; maintenance support and trainingfault (root cause) analysisplant / project interfaceHV switching procedures / permittingtrial and evaluation of new equipment and procedurescommissioning new equipmentassessment of hazardous area compliance issuesdevelopment of test plans / fault finding analysis

The laboratory was established in its current premises in 1990 and I was a member of the team responsible for design, commissioning, implementation, and overseeing building and selection of equipment for the facility.As the senior member of the team in the laboratory, my functional responsibilities included:Electrical Testingliaising with clients determining customer requirements in relation to appropriate Australian, British and International (IEC) standardsproviding quotations with indications of cost, test duration and test requirementsscheduling of testing including assigning personnel to perform the testingoverseeing all testing performed including monitoring procedures and recording of relevant datawriting test reports and issuing in accordance with NATA guidelinesconferring with clients at the conclusion of the testssupervising and assessing electrical engineering students on placement in the laboratoryQuality Systemsas a NATA signatory to satisfy all quality system requirements writing and maintaining manuals and procedures schedulingassigning personnel to perform internal calibrations
