As the manager of film and lecture programs, I curate films from across the globe to be screened at the North Carolina Museum of Art. I create licensing contracts with companies such as GKIDS, A24, Menemsha Films, K Movies, and the Walt Disney company, among others, to ensure all screenings are both secured for proposed showing dates and legally shown through permissions of film companies. Additionally, I cultivate relationships with new partners for the museum and experiment with programming ranging from animated films spanning several decades to contemporary documentaries to classic and modern narrative features. I work with fellow curators to find engaging lecturers and films for new and existing exhibitions. I budget for yearly film programming including handling of film titles, formats such as DCP and 35 mm, and lectures from filmmakers such as Honey Head Films. I created the “NCMA Loves Anime” program for the museum, highlighting the cultural importance and long-standing interest of the anime medium. I co-created the NC Art Museum's Jewish Film Series in collaboration with the Curator of Judaic Arts to highlight Jewish culture through film and discussions with community members, filmmakers, and actors. I cultivated community partnerships with organizations such as the Japan America Society of North Carolina, InWave Movement, and the Animazement anime convention to create enhancements for film screenings, such as bazaars, musical performances, and cultural events. I keep active documentation of roles, times for setting up, pre-screening, etc., and ensure that every participant of an event is aware of and able to follow safety guidelines.

As a Global Creative Consultant, I consult with content creators and vendors on how to present anime posts and products. I also assist vendors across the globe in designs for clothing and accessories. I create buzz by marketing different creators and products through the podcast series The Home For Anime and other community driven social media channels I also research social media trends and polling websites to determine what will sell, what products will be popular, and what is most compelling including titles such as Berserk, Urusei Yatsura, and Chainsaw Man

As a content creator and podcast host I research and analyze different anime, manga, and light novels and craft manuscripts that detail aspects of the weekly episode’s talking points, including themes, plot, fashion, animation, music, and direction among others. I discuss a broad range of topics including mental health, the properties and benefits of tea, and the importance of company, among others, under the scope of anime. I also collaborate with other anime supporters, vendors, artists, and musicians through social media to market, publicize, and grow the show’s community, with The Home for Anime’s audience growing 206% from March 2022 to February 2023 and over 8,500 downloads. I work with anime distributors such as Crunchyroll, Eleven Arts, and GKIDS to promote upcoming titles and new releases through the podcast, press releases, advertising, social media and email marketing. Additionally, I use SEO strategies, using effective keywords to expand the reach of the podcast. I collaborate with members of The Home for Anime community to brainstorm new episodes for the podcast and use persuasive and effective copywriting in show descriptions to promote weekly episodes. I edit, produce, and archive episodes, digital and physical collections related to the podcast and keep spreadsheets for prospective, recorded, edited, and released episodes. I also mentor interns in both podcast reviews and written blog post reviews.

As a sales advisor I provide highly reviewed customer service that has improved store metrics and promoted the Raleigh North Hills location for additional revenue and recognition from corporate.I also process and archive eye prescriptions and insurance for patients. Additionally, I take measurements and communicate technical information regarding eyewear, prescriptions, and lens/frame sizing with patients who require or request knowledge of their purchase and eye health.

As a film critic I critiqued feature length and short films. I worked in collaboration with PR companies to make sure reviews are brought out in a timely manner. I stayed up to date on current social media and cinema trends relevant in the film and journalism industries, to produce 40+ articles that were relevant for the media landscape. I also participated in three North Carolina Film Critics Association awards ceremonies as a voting member.

During my time at Chocolate Fetish I stocked merchandise onto shelves and used my interpersonal skills and wit to sell mass quantities of the store's products to guests. I also worked to maintain an aesthetically pleasing and sanitary environment for both my coworkers and the guests who visited the store.

As a part of the facilitation staff I facilitate activities for different groups of all ages that require them to use critical thinking skills and find ways to work together.

As a Fellow, I was in charge of creating a presence for this company on my campus in the form of making phone calls to people who would back the program and contribute to the cause of voter awareness. I also used social media to expose more people to the program and get them interested in voting.
