As an Intake Specialist at PAM Health, I ensure the timely and accurate scheduling of outpatient services for patients, coordinating with physicians, insurance providers, and other departments. I apply my expertise in medical claims, attention to detail, and medical records to facilitate the billing and reimbursement process, as well as to enhance the patient experience and satisfaction. Previously, I worked in patient access and admissions roles at Kettering Health and Laurel Health Care Company, where I gained valuable skills in customer service, marketing, insurance verifications, and relationship building. I contributed to the improvement of the admission and discharge procedures, the increase of the occupancy and census rates, and the development of the referral and outreach programs. I graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration and an associate's degree in Science, where I also excelled academically and athletically, earning multiple honors as a baseball player.
