Recently I have started a Senior Corporate Mechanic role at Inflite the Jet Centre LTD, where I will assisting the licensed engineers running the maintenance checks, line maintenance and AOG drop ins, interior refurbs on Embraer, Boeing and Bombardier corporate aircraft.

Line Maintenance Mechanic:• I carry out scheduled on our fleet on BAe 146 & Avro RJ 85/100 aircraft to keep them serviceable for the 24/7 operation.• Working as a part of a team we rectify any defects the aircraft comes back on their travels.• Carry out fault finding on the aircraft mechanically and also assisting in fault finding with the avionics department. • Always ensuring that the work is carried out to a high standard following all relevant maintenance procedures and health and safety guidelines. • Working under intense pressure to meet tight time schedules so the aircraft can operate as normal.Completed a 3 month secondment to the Part M Continuing Airworthiness department helping to carry out the following functions: • Control and Oversight of subcontracted Continuing Airworthiness Activities performed by EASA Part M [Appendix II to AMC M.A.711(a)(3)] and Part 145 [Appendix XI to AMC M.A.708(c)] organisations, in accordance with EASA Part M Subpart G.• Monitoring the effectiveness of the Maintenance Programme• Monitoring all Airworthiness Directives information from EASA, FAA, or other authorities where applicable• Evaluating and approving suggestions from the subcontracted Part M organisation for improvements and modifications to aircraft, and make sure that all applicable mandatory directives issued by authorities and Type Certificate holders are incorporated in the aircraft, as appropriate.• Carrying out maintenance planning tasks to ensure compliance with the Approved Maintenance Programme.• Accomplishing Technical Records checks of Part 145 signed documentation and forwarding to subcontracted organisation.
