My working life and experience is rather different to most in my industry, I didn't come into sales from College or University education, I started my career on building sites across Scotland.I am a skilled carpenter and joiner by trade and started work from 16, quickly gaining as much skills and knowledge as I could, eventually being skilled and trusted enough to have my own sites running the joinery of the houses, this taught me valuable management skills and communication skills, as completion dates were strict.After gaining over 6 years of experience in the construction Industry I left for a different challenge, being home improvement sales, where I quickly became one of the companies top representatives, achieving a conversion rate of 1 in 2 and bringing over one million pounds of business to the company where an average order value was £8000following that I was then trusted to manage a team of other representatives including myself to consistently deliver results.now looking for my next challenge to expand my knowledge, experience and abilities further.
