Worked on the international points transfers team on our proprietary platform written in Golang. Integrated Protobuf into the project to enable quicker response times. Added unit, functional, and e2e tests by creating Cucumber test suites and integrating with Godog. Worked on the Points Transfers department refactoring Java code so that it could be used for international partners. Created test scenarios with the application to run automated tests using Ant and Maven build tools. Integrated APIs from multiple teams within our company as well as external partners to create our composite API for creating transactions for redeeming users’ points.

Created and maintained three web applications using Java EE 8, Glassfish application server, and Microsoft SQL Server. Used Adobe Livecycle to create pdf files that were later to be signed by the users and managers digitally. The applications then filled their corresponding pdf files with information from the user and saved them onto the server. Used IIS 7 on the Windows server 1008 R2 to host the files to the appropriate location to where the web application could link. Used hibernate to communicate between Java and the SQL server.

Created application to deploy web application across remote servers. Full stack web development using Java EE 8, angularJS, JSP, HTML, mariaDB, and wildfly application server. Used websockets to integrate contractor-provided executable as a wildfly module to allow for continuous integration.Worked in the Software Integration department creating custom Windows images deployed using Windows PE. Used various scripting languages to automatically install desired software for various custom configurations of mission planning computers. Worked to optimize the current method of Windows deployment being used.

Designed and developed tools and applications to support the modeling and simulation departmentwithin the Navy’s Air Warfare Analysis division. Created tools in Java using the Netbeans IDE that allowed data translation between models such as flight paths and aircraft characteristics. Systematically learned new tools through research and guidance from subject matter experts such as MATLAB, which was used to create data visualization tools for error checking. Created Bash and Perl scripts to extract data from model outputs and quickly create run matrices for variable inputs. Used Subversion for product version control, updating new code with new requirements. Optimized previous code to reduce output data for reports. Rapid delivery to government customer allowed for iterative adjustments. Created documentation for all developed tools.

Used Eclipse IDE with BIRT plugin to create dynamic reports that allowed the users to access company information from a database in a concise manner. Edited SQL database to add and remove reports from the web application.

Collaborated with team members to create a web application for rating wines using Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and HTML.
