Scottish Munro Challenge Completed1 October 2011 Oct 2010 - Oct 2011Mounted a successful expedition to climb all 283 Munros in one continuous round (Scottish mountains >3000 ft). During the 11-month trip, walked 2,794km, climbed 174,250m (equivalent to over 50 ascents of Everest from Nepalese Base-camp), and raised over £1500 for Cancer Research UK. Expedition required careful project planning, preparation and team-working throughout. It also necessitated an adventurous spirit, a calculated approach to risk, and personal tenacity under extreme conditions to keep to a tight schedule and to finish on time (& budget).
