Shadowed various CNAs on their daily responsibilities and shortly began practicing learned skills, such as obtaining vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, and assisting with patient transfer and ambulation with their patients. Through this experience, I was able to strengthen my abilities in communication and contribute to the care of the geriatric population which allowed me to establish special connections to the patients and further my understanding about the roles of CNAS.
