Extensive experience with leading one-on-one and small group instruction with students at Cesar Batalla School and Black Rock School in Bridgeport, CT. Through these opportunities, I have gained a great amount of experience from determining literacy needs through an independent case study to co-creating and facilitating a lesson with a colleague, as well as making substantial progress in creating my own lesson plans. My work experience with Mathnasium since 2017, has allowed me to gain insight into the different ways in which students learn, as well as develop my leadership skills. As an instructor at Mathnasium, I have worked with students K-12 to enhance their mathematical abilities. Through this experience, I have acquired many skills necessary to be adaptable in my approach to teaching. I have also had the opportunity to show my ability to lead, as well as be a problem-solver through my work experience at Mathnasium.
