Studio Supervisor
CurrentI create order in the store while we are operating. I work in the front of house more and in that role I have to set the tone for the store even if there is just one customer in the studio and for the team to start us o on a great day of work and to just check up how all my pierces are going and how the clients experience was when they were in their appointment. I am in charge to be a leader as well as a problem solver when there are times where there are some di culties with some clients and an associate or a piercer I do tend to hear details that I could correct and also help some of the associates know right from wrong and let them know that getting something wrong is nothing to feel bad about I have to set an example as a leader for the studio and when customers and clients have a question or need help I make sure to make it known that I got them. I also have to train new associates and new part time supervisors that means showing them not just right from wrong but what works for them and what works for them because I like to see everyone's strengths and work around theirs not what my strengths are and make them achieve it I have to support with a concrete idea to achieve. I am also the visual manager, I received this promotion in my 5th month of being with this company because my leaders saw that my attention to detail is crazy sharp. I want my store to show that we mean business and that we are the best, therefore I was chosen to design the earscape bar and the fashion jewelry bar. When I find pictures or directions confusing I’m not afraid to ask. I want it to be right and I want them to know I’m taking their directions with care. Designing the ear bar is easy but designing someone's ear is the best part about being a VM because I not only know the jewelry back stock like the back of my hand but I know the materials I took it upon myself to learn the materials what they contain and what fun facts I can share to our Clients, and customers.
Keyholder
The role of keyholder was to make sure everyone had their job to do and to make sure the energy in the store wasn’t dying even during the slowest time. I had to be the “Battery” of the store and when I heard that I made that the key to become the one running the store when my fellow managers needed to focus on other tasks. I was in charge of scheduling the daily sheet for the day of the shift and the weeks coming and to solve them problems when we had call outs or schedule changes. That’s what retail is about to adapt and overcome and this job kept me on my toes. I was also in charge of training in this job as well because I was there constantly and I wanted to be a leader that they could come to. I was in charge of shipment too restocking and unboxing 50 to 72 boxes that came in I tried to work fast and e ciently as well as hear for any help if it was needed in the front my job was to be and associate, a cashier, a stylist, and a manager and I loved it I love being busy.
Brand Lead
This job was the first I had become a manager. I was a cashier at first then became the lead cashier and slowly moved up to a Brand Lead to manage the store with my 2 other brand lead managers. In this role I was just a cashier and slowly as I understood my role and my materials that I had to work with I was showing an initiative to want to be more in this company and so I was promoted to Lead Cashier just the title but that meant I was in charge of training new comers and helping out with problems if managers were busy. Later in 2021 I was promoted to become a Brand Lead and train everyone in all the roles of the job and that meant as a cashier, a fitting room attendant, and a BOH person meaning how to keep inventory of shipments, how to sensor, and what we needed to push out into the floor. Later that year I started learning VM essentials and making my own walls for the regional manager to see and that meant building and putting together not just mannequins but shelves and fixtures. It was fun and I loved showing my flair. That also gave me enough knowledge to learn the materials, the styles and the locations to become a store dictionary.
