Manage and lead EPC transactions with Independent Power Producers for commercial and utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the Unites States. Responsibilities include business development, proposal generation, contracting, and development assistance to clients. In addition I support Borrego's developed projects including public and private sector solar and energy storage projects through financing, entitlement, interconnection, environmental review, and off-take.

Member of commercial and governmental sales team tasked with delivering technically sound pre-sale designs for prospective solar energy installations. Analyze potential customer sites for feasibility and attractiveness of solar energy projects. Study available solar energy resources, weather conditions, electrical interconnection options, and structural issues. Prepare pre-sales designs, energy production estimates, and pricing.

· As Lead Engineer, managed and oversaw control and instrumentation engineering for multiple simultaneous $1M+ projects for clients in the energy sector, resulting in continual increase in level of responsibility. Accountable for schedule, budget, and design requirements. Worked closely with mechanical, civil, & structural disciplines to provide integrated design packages. · Led several large segments of controls and instrumentation engineering for $50M refinery catalytic cracker safety upgrade, $6M gas fired heater emergency shutdown system retrofit, & $1M rail car loading station redesign. Responsible for analysis and retrofits to DCS, PLC, & SCADA systems and design of intrinsically safe circuits & operator control stations.

· As Site Manager managed staff of six engineers and designers representing civil, mechanical, and chemical disciplines. Staff efforts led to continuous stream of successfully designed and installed projects for oil & gas client. Oversaw hiring, mentoring, & project staffing. · As instrumentation and project engineer, was responsible for estimating, proposing, staffing, & managing to completion wide range of multi-discipline projects ranging from $10K to $1M. · Managed and delivered 50+ installed projects including installation of new refinery fire pumps and related systems, emergency shutdown systems for 480V motors & steam turbines, instrumentation for process measurement including flow, temperature, and pressure, and numerous automated control valves. Coordinated design integration across engineering disciplines resulting in enhancement of firm's reputation for quality and ease of constructability. · Created or updated Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, electrical single lines, panel schedules, lighting circuit diagrams, instrument schematics, and equipment data sheets.

Successfully managed global warming awareness public art project from startup phase into full-time operation. Developed initial $1.2 million operating budget and supervised 25 part time volunteers. Assisted in gaining official support from two sitting U.S. Senators, developed and maintained relationships with city leaders.

Future Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to utilizing technology to provide education and job training to a rural community in El Salvador. Was co-founder and board member.
