Teaching Intro to Programming for the Spring 2020 semester.The course teaches Python 3, a little Git, and some computer science fundamentals. I have taken the materials donated to me by faculty and have adjusted them as needed, as well as wrote my own exams. Development and support on a suite of yield learning/characterization engineering JEE-based web applications known as Characterization And Yield Collaborative Environment (CAYCE). This team is a part of Technology Software Engineering (TSE), which supports semiconductor manufacturing and testing.An application I worked on is an analysis tool that interprets Groovy scripts/SQL queries/R scripts to work on datasets and generate charts, other datasets, spreadsheets, and more. These are sourced from the manufacturing data warehouse, as well as other databases, and results can be stored as tables in the app's own database, as well as shared with other users, and scheduled to run at regular intervals.A major project I designed and implemented was to add Apache Solr search capability to the saved scripts/results.I retained ownership of the the web-based bitfail map viewer, as it uses CAYCE infrastructure.I staffed the Help Desk on a weekly basis, fielding questions and bug reports from our users, and opening tickets.When I was not on the Help Desk, I handled building, releasing, and deploying the applications.I was part of the TSE Mobile Initiative, where I presented on AngularJS 1 vs. 2, and explored a pilot project for integrating MobileFirst/Worklight/Cordova technology into the organization.Practiced DevOps as well as provided Customer Support.

Developed, tested, maintained applications in the embedded memory diagnostics suite as part of the Embedded Memory Team. I also performed semiconductor product configuration and bringup--designing logical-to-physical address decoders, generating config profiles, and more. This team is a part of Technology Software Engineering (TSE), which supports semiconductor manufacturing and testing.The mission of the team is to provide diagnostics and reports regarding wafers of memory chips that have been tested. The main reports are bitfail maps (BFM), and there is a tool to blow fuses on chips. Pattern recognition is also performed on the maps and defect signatures correlated for failure analysis, characterization, and other related processes.I worked with the customers to determine what signatures they need in the pattern recognition software that was developed in-house and configure it for them, as well as configure chips and wafers for our JEE BFM viewer and automated bitfail map generator.My main role was to maintain the web-based bitfail map viewer.Interacting with AIX and Linux on a daily basis, as well as a myriad of languages and technologies, including JEE, C, C++, Spring MVC, jQuery, Korn shell scripting, and Perl scripts.
