I am the climate change subject matter expert for the Bank's Green Bond, developed and implemented the climate change risk due diligence process for business banking, leading the 5-year TCFD reporting initiative, and the Bank's representative to UNEPFI and CBA.

I launched a group at the Munk School of Global Affairs to foster conversation over complex risks with an emphasis on mitigation strategies. I developed a report that measures instability in the Korean Peninsula, how it may influence commercial and business relations between Canada and South Korea, and presented to their Chief Economist, Deputy Chief Economist, and Political Intelligence team in Ottawa.

I worked for Mike Durland, former CEO of Scotiabank’s Global Banking and Markets, by assisting in the development of a machine learning algorithm that analyzes the sentiment from business transcripts. I also assisted in projects ranging from vertical farming sustainability reports to blockchain applications for global mining supply chains.

I wrote topical rapid response briefs for academics and corporate partners as part of a student-led think tank specializing in the mitigation of political risk for Canadian organizations investing in the Philippines.

I was the team leader for the summer student program that was recruited by a full-time claims team to help increase their efficiency and clear a six-month backlog.

I provided claim handling support to Auto and Fire teams that facilitated benefit payments and created a new workflow system for handling incoming police and customer reports.
