Configuring and trouble network related setups and issues. Much of the same work I did with THUMBTECHS.

I would run quality checks on the new and old phone/internet lines. We would do this for the technicians that install the customer peripheral equipment and the techs that repair the outside lines. I currently answer phone call from techs and run tests to determine if the issues is going to be an outside line issue our an inside line issue.

- Help desk and server technician for the duration of my time with THUMBTECHS This includes troubleshooting hardware issues on desktops and laptops. This also includes working with the client over the phone to resolve the issue remotely. More often than not I had to remote into the machine and work on it. I have troubleshot issues with all of the Microsoft Office suites currently available along with their current Operating Systems.- Involvement in a number of server, domain, email, and other various network migrations. I have been a part of some domain migrations, but one of the main things we did was migrate email systems to Microsoft’s Office 365. This required changes that affect all aspects of the network; external DNS configuration along with onsite servers and client computers.- Served as lead tech in a number of the mentioned network migrations. On a few of the migrations I either led the project or did the whole project myself on the technical side. This includes changing and adding DNS records, syncing the 2 mail systems either by RPC/HTTP or some third party migration tool, and making sure the data in the new system reflects the data in the old one.- Participated in project design, planning, and deployment. I have participated in planning of new domain or share/file structures when the clients begin to grow past their current technical capabilities.- Configured and implemented routers, switches, firewalls, WAPS, and other networking equipment. As a CCNA I was tasked with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco equipment such as routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. I also gained much experience with SonicWALL products and am very familiar with their setup and interface- Experience with SAGE and Intuit products This includes installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting those products. - I recently have also gained experience with Windows Azure and its features.
