Computer programming has always fascinated me. I used to think that at some point, everything would come together, and I would be undeniably capable: "once I learn Solidity Assembly, I'm going to be a total wizard!" Eventually, it became clear that real aptitude is not the result of learning many technologies, but rather of applied experience solving real problems. My focus shifted from learning and regurgitating to building new ideas that nobody has tried before, honing my skillset through a self-directed process of trial-and-error.I have spent the last five years pursuing my Bachelor's in Computer Science while endeavoring to maximize my exposure to the real world of programming, (I'll admit it, I'm not particularly passionate about school). At first, I was focused primarily on Machine and Deep Learning, but I eventually decided to switch to blockchain programming. Blockchain and cryptocurrencies have always deeply interested me, so the idea of building my own project from scratch seemed too good to pass up. During this period, I have developed full-stack blockchain dev experience, evolving my idea from a concept to a fully-implemented DeFi ecosystem (check it out, vertigodao.com) featuring numerous innovative systems and complete with an integrated frontend, all single-handedly developed by me. Beyond programming, this process has provided me with invaluable experience leading other specialists, pitching and promoting my idea, and optimizing my unique workflow. I also picked up some new interests along the way: I fell in love with Solidity, mastered React.JS, worked many long hours building 3D scenes with THREE.JS, spent an ungodly amount of time writing documentation, and even contributed to several other projects. As I look forward to the next chapter in my career, I am eager to collaborate with forward-thinking individuals and organizations that share my passion for innovation in technology. Whether it's developing the next big DeFi project, enhancing existing systems, or exploring new frontiers in the wider digital space, I am committed to applying my skills and experience to make a meaningful impact

Blockchain Protocol Engineer / Web DeveloperVertigodao Aug 2021 - Sep 2023Seattle, Washington, United StatesI am the developer behind VertigoDAO, a next-generation blockchain ecosystem that leverages DeFi to spur engagement across the digital space. This revolutionary ecosystem fields unique innovations on and off-chain, offering solutions to numerous traditional Web3-related limitations while driving tangible results for both Web2 and Web3 content (including multi-chain support).Highlights:* Built the core smart contract system, hosted on the Ethereum network. Provides a nuanced range of features including a unique tokenomics model, token-based community governance, virtual real estate NFTs, and autonomous administration.* Developed a powerful on-chain storage system called the Hydra Storage System. Hydra allows smart contract developers to partition data from contract logic: establishing enhanced security, providing for modular design, and making it much easier to build new systems after deployment. It also offers numerous efficiency-related optimizations including the ability to disperse datasets between multiple storage contract instances, reducing EVM seek times for lower gas fees.* Built an advanced integrated frontend using React, THREE.JS, and GLSL. The frontend also several interesting sub-projects including an procedural 3D city generator, particle explosion system, and much more.* Pitched the project many times, led other specialists, constructed advanced documentation including a comprehensive technical whitepaper.
