Met with technology based Missouri small businesses to help them grow and bring new prototype products to market. This included assisting businesses with computer aided design and modeling of product prototypes as well as prototype manufacturing through the University of Missouri Rapid Prototyping Lab.Additionally, I worked with REDI (Regional Economic Development, Inc.) as part of the Missouri Building Entrepreneurial Capacity (MOBEC) program. MOBEC is a student team working with the SBTDC, REDI, and the Missouri Technology Corporation (MTC) to assist Missouri small businesses in readying products for market. This includes additional engineering evaluation, prototyping (if necessary), marketing tests and surveys, and intellectual property and legal help.
