I interned for the Customs and Borders protection division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in their LSSD laboratory. Some of the tasks I performed while interning were handling evidence and following proper evidence intake procedures, the packaging of controlled substances, extracting various forms of data from electronic devices seized by CBP, and organizing MSDS lab manuals.
