Since graduating from University in 2006, I found great enjoyment in developing employees and helping them meet their personal and professional goals. Throughout my career, I have focused on honing my expertise in management, learning, and development in order to better serve my employees. I have particularly learned a lot from my colleagues at Nielsen and they have played an amazing role in facilitating my development and success. The most rewarding thing about the work I do is guiding a struggling learner to success and seeing an overall increase in their personal satisfaction. Sometimes all it takes is a different approach to make challenging concepts, click.I also enjoy a good problem to solve. Whether it be a challenge my department is facing or a project that needs a boost to finish on time and on budget, I enjoy evaluating processes and identifying strategies to meet or exceed our departmental goals. When I am not at work or continuing my education, I enjoy listening to and playing music, reading and playing snooker.

I have leveraged my expertise in training and employee development to great effect. After presenting a business case to acquire Articulate Storyline 2, I developed several training modules which resulted in increased performance and learner satisfaction among employees. I was also able to improve our supervisor onboarding training by using a micro-learning approach, which resulted in a 50% reduction in required training time. I regularly used performance metrics to identify strategies to improve project and employee performance. These strategies resulted in consistently delivering results that were on average 10-15% above expectations. Through thorough data analysis, I proposed a project scheduling strategy that resulted in a 20% increase in productivity. My efforts were awarded in January of 2017 with the Nielsen Simply Excellent Gold Award. Show less -
