About Cameron Bartosiewicz

As the President and CEO of Youth Pride Association (YPA), I am passionate about developing and implementing creative, scalable, and high-impact programs to address the greatest inequities facing LGBTQ students in 50 states. I lead organizational development and fundraising efforts, maintaining a +95% program expense ratio and increasing a +275% YTY cash revenue growth. I also received the President’s Award for Student Innovation and the Newman Civic Fellowship for my work with YPA.In addition to my social entrepreneurship, I am also a Research Assistant at California State University Channel Islands, conducting research into lignocellulose-based biofuel production from genetically engineered biological organisms, using advanced analytical tools and techniques. I am also a participant in the Justice Leadership Institute at CAUSE, a six-month academy on public leadership and social justice in the central coast communities. I aspire to use my scientific and leadership skills to create positive social change and environmental sustainability.
