As a passionate undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Bunagan's independent research lab at The College of New Jersey, I contribute to biophysical studies focused on the conformation dynamics of Late Embryogenesis Abundant (LEA) proteins. My research involves investigating the impact of environmental changes on the secondary structure and behavior of these biomolecules, specifically the conformational dynamics of intrinsically disordered proteins to determine the effect of salt concentration on peptide structure.
