Relationships are at the heart of my approach to Public Accounting. I enjoy getting to know my clients and their families to better understand their needs and desires. I believe that a CPA should be a trusted advisor and that individuals should feel comfortable reaching out to their CPA with their questions, concerns and ambitions. As an elementary school teacher, I learned that students do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care. I have taken this idea with me into my experience as a Certified Public Accountant. Anyone can prepare a tax return. I am here to be an advocate, ally and advisor to guide clients through the dynamic landscape of corporate and individual tax.Public Accounting is not a one size fits all. WB CPA is a boutique public accounting firm that works directly with clients to help solve issues. During the uncertainty of the pandemic and the mandated shut downs, many business sought out the financial safety net of the PPP Loan. With the role out of the loan and the almost weekly updates to the application and forgiveness requirements, clients were feeling confused and anxious on top of all the other emotions of running a business during the pandemic. I worked with clients and their loan providers to assemble all documentation needed for the PPP loan application and later the forgiveness application, helping clients to understand the requirements, process and documentation needed for a smooth transaction.I find it extremely rewarding getting to experience and be a part of the growth and success of my clients and continuing to assist them as their needs and goals change throughout their life.
