My name is Cameron Crowder and I am a senior at LeTourneau University. I am currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering and will be taking an extra year to finish my studies. I am adept at adapting to work environments and people. This experience was grown through first being a Student Senator for my floor, then a Committee Chair the following year, and then Student Body Vice President the third year. In these positions I learned cross-departmental communication, delegation, and teamwork. I also created great relations with the Student Life staff. I have since shifted to serving in New Student Orientation (working more directly with Student Life) as one of six student cabinet members organizing and directing student volunteers in welcoming 400+ new students beginning of the Fall semester. As for technical skills, I have taken the Solids Modeling course in which I learned SolidWorks and received my CSWA in Mechanical Design. I have also taken the Advanced Manufacturing Processes course where I learned CNC Machining through CNC mills, CNC lathes, and CAM software programming (specifically Fusion360 and SolidWorks). My strengths lie in out-of-the-box creativity, 3D spatial visualization, and prototyping. I enjoy working with my hands and I am always open to learning something new.
