•Management: Responsible for effective running of the unit; leading opening and closing procedures, including documentation in company databases and systems; managing stock and deliveries; frequently most senior staff member on site•Staff: Training, guiding and supervising team members to ensure compliance with company standards and processes and high levels of customer service; supporting the manager in ensuring optimal staffing•Operational: Monitoring, documenting and acting upon stock levels and demand within company databases to optimise sales; prioritising tasks and adapting to change in a fluid working environment; managing customer needs and ensuring customer satisfaction

•Frontline customer service; including taking orders, maintaining and displaying stock, serving hot & cold food and drinks, handling cash/card transactions and addressing queries or complaints.•Assisting in opening and closing of the store; thorough cleaning of the premises to ensure accordance with hygiene standards, counting the daily takings.•Effective communication within a small team
