Currently supporting the Project Lead with the latest platform development project of Rexroth radial piston motors.Other Responsibilities include:- Project Lead for the MCR4F project, a new radial piston motor development which see improvements to motor life, tractive effort and slow speed performance, all in a more compact frame size.- Working with the Design, Manufacturing and Purchasing teams to provide cost estimations on new design concepts, and where possible, implementing design cost reductions.- Working with the wider team onsite to help deliver prototype motors, ensuring deadlines are met.

Supported the Head of Projects and members of PMO (Project Management Office) within new development projects. Was later promoted to the position of ‘Project Engineer’.Responsibilities:- Provided cost estimations and rating of design concepts concerning relevant factors.- Assisted the engineering team in implementing cost reductions.- Ensured project plans were updated and deadlines were met.- Implemented an internal Wiki for the Engineering department, helping to speed up the onboarding process for new starts.

- Was responsible for the procurement of components and parts for the Engineering / Projects department whilst liaising with other departments to ensure deadlines were met.- Coordinated Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) – taking suggestions from members of staff on how working procedures could be made more efficient and relayed this to management during leadership meetings.

- Oversaw and implemented a new system for splitting deliveries before they were taken to be worked on shop floor. This helped to increase department efficiency.- Ensured the shelves were fully stocked and looked presentable.- Sending back faulty stock to distribution centres using set company processes.- Ensured that every product had the correct labelling and pricing.- Identified customer needs and made appropriate recommendations.

Was promoted to the position of team leader after one month of being in the job.- Delegating the work of Customer Team Members and making sure that everyone understands what they are doing and are committed to providing excellent customer service.- Responsible for motivating and developing the skills of Customer Team Members.- Cash handling – taking physical money from each checkout, counting it, and placing it into a safe.- Key holder- opening and closing the store with responsibility for the store in the absence of other store management.
