• Vertical Aerospace is a UK-based aerospace manufacturer specialising in the design and production of zero-emission, electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft.Selected for a secondment to Vertical.
• Appointed by Avolon’s CEO to lead technical and corporate due diligence on a comprehensive aircraft order and equity investment with/in Vertical Aerospace.
• Supported formulation of the approval proposal for the Avolon board, gaining endorsement for the largest global eVTOL aircraft order (500 aircraft, ~$2bn) and a $15m OEM equity investment.
• Reached 300+ people via knowledge share sessions, company briefings, and investor meetings to support the comprehensive communications roll-out of the order and equity investment.
• Partnered with Avolon’s marketing team to engage prospective airlines, prepare marketing materials and close deals; resulting in the over-placement of the 500 aircraft orderbook within 9-months.
