By God's grace, we were blessed with the essentials; however, finances were nearly always a struggle. I have a passionate desire to serve my community and provide for my family. For 12 years, I accomplished this goal by protecting and serving our great nation as a military veteran in the Army National Guard and the US Navy. While in the military, I met my wife, Emily, and she has served by my side for more than 20 years. Since we met, she has introduced me to brisket, H-town, and all things Texas! We have lived all over the country, moving 12 times in 12 years and have been very blessed with 2 beautiful and special daughters: Caroline Grace, who is no longer with us, and Everleigh Rose, who loves her pet bunnies, soccer, and making us laugh! Since leaving the active duty military ranks, I have enjoyed much more family time at home in the greater Houston area, fulfilling my passion to serve others in various roles at church and networking in my community.
