My responsibilities included:• Establishing an in-house property development capability (PMO) to deliver major capital programs• Extending property advisory services to all national, state and local sub-branches• Managing capital budget ($80m), departmental budget, human resources and business planningMy key achievements included:• Increased residential portfolio rental yield >50% through a bespoke tenant rent-setting model• Delivered an $18m residential portfolio upgrade 11% under budget, increased yield by 27% and secured two national awards• Negotiated favourable exit terms from a failed legacy development partnership securing lost assets of $8m in a cash settlement • Secured preferred development partner status with Queensland Government’s $100m “GLASS” asset transfer program• Led RSL’s competition consortium to win an international design competition

Project Services is the commercialised consulting business of the Queensland Government responsible for the delivery of property development, capital works, and portfolio management services for all State owned and managed building assets.My key responsibilities included:• Advised Ministers, Directors-General and Executive Officers on the design and delivery of significant capital works programs• Led delivery of the $1b National Partnership Agreement for capital works in Indigenous Communities• Established and managed the PMO and led the project team for a $1.2b social housing program• Established and led the $50m Brisbane Common Ground Public-Private Build-To-Operate PartnershipMy key achievements included:• Delivered $1b of capital works on the social housing program on schedule, $115m below budget, with a 3.4% yield increase• Successfully negotiated access and development rights for all remote indigenous communities in Queensland • Successfully delivered a Queensland first Public-Private Build-To-Operate program ($50m with a 9% saving)
