I'm currently pursuing my MBA at Lasell University while balancing Professional Hockey in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Living in Europe for almost two years now, I've developed new skills, forged relationships that I'll cherish forever, and garnered valuable experience that's allowed for personal continued growth. Not a stranger to adversity, I take calculated risks and am not afraid to step out of my comfort zone. In pursuit of a Division One Scholarship, I made the difficult decision to leave home at 17 to attend boarding school. As a full scholarship student-athlete at the University of Alabama in Hunstville, my commitment on and off the ice culminated in a Bachelor's degree in Finance with Cum Laude distinction. With the rigors of a 35,000 mile travel schedule, I earned WCHA All-Academic for outstanding academic achievement. The traits I have developed through my journey as a highly successful 4-year Division One and 3-year Professional hockey player makes a unique candidate to employers. As a highly motivated and dedicated business professional, I believe I have the necessary qualifications for a successful career in financial services.My journey through hockey has given me extensive experience and the ability to work independently, analyze and interpret information, attention to detail, and collaborate in a workgroup. Moving away at 17, I've spent almost 10 years pursuing a hockey career while completing an undergrad degree in Finance and now an MBA. I've lived in Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Denmark, and now Northern Ireland. My exceptional time management, motivation, determination, and hunger for more allow me to achieve the goals I set out for. I enjoy staying up to date with trends in the markets, managing my own portfolio for the last few years. In my free time, I like to golf, travel, and spend time with friends and family. I'm currently studying for the SIE qualification exam that I'm scheduled to take in May. I look forward to my career in Finance. Let's connect!
