As the Co-Executive Director of the Schreyer Honors Orientation program, I foster an inclusive environment for over 300 first-year students, whilst leading a dedicated team of 60 Peer Leaders and Educators. I am also a leader in various volunteer initiatives, including acting as the Executive Director for the Fresh START Day of Service, which is Penn State's largest single-day volunteer program, serving over 470 hours on the Centre Helps Crisis Hotline, and working as an On-Site Coordinator with the Red Cross.I am a member of Dr. Chaleece Sandberg’s Semantics and Neural Dynamics Lab, where I am currently in the process of writing my Honors Thesis that explores the intersection of neuroscience and language. I have received over $10,000 in grant writing to fund this research through the NSF and NASA Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium. Additionally, I am involved with Dr. Taomei Guo’s laboratory at Beijing Normal University, as well as the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
