As Regional Development manager, I function in several different capacities simultaneously. Primarily, I facilitate, observe, and provide feedback in relation to Sales Essentials, BLC's new agent training platform. My responsibilities for this program extend to nine Branch Sales Offices throughout Florida and two in Alabama. In addition, I conduct branch and region specific trainings on products and processes as needed. As of January 2017, I have been attached to Bankers Life Securities in the role of Registration Coach. Primary duties include organization and execution of an eight week study group and weekly practice test sessions for agents seeking to become Series 7 licensed. I also act as a liaison between BLS onboarding and agents in the Southeast Territory who are seeking to become securities licensed. My work as RDM for the Florida Region has also allowed me to expand my responsibilities to include the facilitation of an online class through the American College, FA 257, an advanced class focusing on life insurance products which is a pre-req. for the FSCP designation. Through FA 257, I have been able to interact with Bankers Life agents nationwide, further broadening my understanding of, and effectiveness within, the Insurance Industry.
